COMPUTER KEYBOARD AND MOUSE
Procurement Services keeps a small inventory of ergonomic keyboards and trackball mice on hand for immediate pickup. If you are in need of either of these items, obtain approval from your manager and go to the Procurement Services Department to pick up the items. Your department will be charged at Moody’s cost.
If you wish to procure an ergonomic apparatus, such as a sit-stand work table or sit-stand desk attachment, please contact Procurement Services before proceeding. A purchase of this nature requires collaboration between your Department, the Facilities Department, and the Procurement Services Department.
Pain or soreness in your neck, shoulders, wrists, arms, back or legs, while you work, may be a signal that your workspace needs some realignment or that you need a different task chair. Employees can request an ergonomic evaluation by completing an FMX Work Order on-line. A link to the FMX website and a guide for completing Work Orders are on the myMoody Facilities website
ERGONOMIC TASK CHAIR ADJUSTMENTS
If you use an ergonomic task chair at your workstation, you can click on any of the links for a quick, visual tutorial about the adjustability features of your chair. Discomfort, while you work, may be remedied by a simple adjustment to your chair that you did not know you could make.
