One way Moody gets discounts on purchases is by making acquisitions through a purchasing consortium. Purchasing consortiums leverage the buying power of multiple schools so they can provide the best price to each individual participant.
On this page, we provide information on five purchasing consortiums in which Moody can participate and links to their contracted suppliers.
E&I Cooperative Services
E&I is backed by the purchasing power of over 4,100 educational institutions. As an E&I member since 1968, Moody Bible Institute is able to access the Cooperative’s entire contract portfolio, which includes more than 120 competitively awarded contracts. These contracts are available to us immediately, and at no cost to our institution.
At the end of the year, E&I returns any profit back to its members in the form of patronage returns based upon each institution’s usage. The Cooperative also offers exclusive rebate programs available through many of its suppliers, which provide valuable revenue.
